Job DescriptionJob Title: Project Manager
Job location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract Extendable
Job Duties:
- Technical Project Manager to implement Questica Budget System (procured by the City)
- Coordinate City staff resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of the project
- (Implementation of the Questica Budget System).
- Develop project scope and objective, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring
- technical feasibility
- Ensure all deliverables are on‐time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Establish clear and concise communication plan
- Report status and escalate issues to City/Consultant management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience implementing Questica – Budget System, preferably for another government
- agency
- Strong understanding of municipal budgeting concepts
- Ability to develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Knowledge of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope,
- schedule and costs
- Ability to measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Ability to effectively perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Ability to maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Four‐year degree preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
- Proven working experience as a project manager implementing technology projects
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands‐on experience in Budget System

- Excellent client‐facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi‐tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- PMP certification
- Experience with a public‐sector agency
