Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Develop strategies and actions to bring a group of people together to work effectively and achieve a common goal.
Scenic and Décor Design:
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to support scenic and décor designs that enhance the overall aesthetic and mood of the production or event.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues related to scenic equipment.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, fellow team members, and performers.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other technicians, stagehands, and production staff to coordinate scenic layout, facilitate changes, and assist with requests during events.
Adaptability:
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in team leadership, event changes, and day-to-day responsibilities.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date show plans and warehouse inventory.
Qualifications:
Previous management experience.
High energy and willingness to assist in any task required to reach a goal.
Knowledge of technical equipment and their uses.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules.
