About the Role: 

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Technology Management Consulting team. In this role, you will take ownership of resource management, project status, timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure successful delivery. 

This is a hybrid position based in Silver Spring, MD. You'll have the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Silver Spring office when needed.

  Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create and configure new projects in our resource management systems, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
  • Effectively allocate and oversee resources to meet project demands
  • Monitor project status, timelines, budgets, and scopes to send regular updates to the VP
  • Work with the VP to support capacity planning and forecasting resource needs to ensure the team maintains designated timeframes and budgets
  • Oversee SharePoint site documentation and maintain detailed project documentation and management tools
  • Participate in Business Development meetings to document and provide input for future projects

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the technology sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience with resource management tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in analyzing project data and metrics for informed decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication
  • Expertise in documenting project plans and developing Work Breakdown Structures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint or similar document management platforms
  • Background in technology or professional services
  • Experience working with associations and nonprofits
  • PMP certification or equivalent
