Job Description

  • The SAP Rollout Manager is responsible for the management of projects throughout their lifecycle and leads cross-functional teams to deliver defined project outputs to time, budget, and project quality criteria.
  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
  • Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word

Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Manage SAP and integrated systems rollout
  • Conduct project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan
  • Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients
  • Ensure proper use of SAP Activate or hybrid methodology, tools and procedures.
  • Ensures proper governance is in place to best meet project objectives and that this governance is operating effectively.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance.
  • Plan and execute formal Quality Gate process following the Q-Gate approach in SAP Activate methodology.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience delivering and managing complex SAP programs internationally
  • 5+ years of SAP project management experience using formal project management methodology, techniques and tools.
  • Experience in teambuilding and leading teams.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as: project charter, project management plan, risk and mitigation plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget and schedule.
  • SAP Finance background is a plus
