Job Description

What You'll Do: 

The Project Manager manages projects across organizational boundaries, working directly with contributors from key departments including Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership. This individual will manage multiple projects concurrently and utilize both traditional and agile project management techniques. The Project Manager will exercise strong relationship building skills, communication skills, and other soft skills to work to deliver quality results on a specified deadline. 

60% -- Project Management

  • Manage delivery of projects through the entire lifecycle: intake, research, requirements building, release, and go-to-market
  • Develop and maintain project plans
  • Coordinate project intake, capacity planning, project estimation, requirements, and activities

25% -- Process and Standards Management

  • Contribute to the continued deployment and refinement of project management standards and processes throughout the organization
  • Use the appropriate mix of traditional and agile project management best practices to manage assigned projects
  • Develop and evolve existing project management processes (as part of a team)

15% -- Project Status Communication

  • Communicate project status via formal and informal reporting processes
  • Exercise sound judgement on escalations or accurate status reporting
  • Identify and communicate status/challenges and bring recommended action plans to multiple levels in the organization
  • Prepare and present status at regular scheduled meetings


Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed: 

 Required / Minimum: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Information Technology/Related Field
  • 2-5 years of experience in Program Management
  • Understanding of IT systems infrastructure & engineering practices
  • Capacity for rapid absorption (or direct experience) of eCommerce industry & technologies (systems, tools, best in practice)
  • Business acumen and communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of IT systems infrastructure & both agile and traditional engineering practices
  • Problem solving, data interpretation, analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as conflict resolution skills
  • Hands on knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle practices

  Preferred: 

  • Experience in MS Project
  • Experience working with SAP project & portfolio
