Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in line with business and customer needs.
  • Provide periodic updates to key members of Seabrook team. Regular updates to be monthly. Scope changes or timelines changes to be communicated as they occur.
  • Create product and process specifications and other internal documents.
  • Practice effective project management skills including scheduling and conducting meetings with published minutes and action plans.
  • Reviews and implements engineering change orders as appropriate; updates manufacturing documentation including specifications, SOP's and other quality related documents Ensures efficient utilization of all manufacturing related equipment and resources.
  • Prepare and/or review engineering change requests; develop and oversee preparation and implementation of all engineering change notices and document change control.
  • Lead contract review meetings. Identify drawing anomalies and suggest design changes that will increase manufacturability.
  • Participate in quote development process as required. Identify any risks.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.
  • Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelors' Degree in Engineering. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years related experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3D CAD Skills
  • Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, OC and height gage for dimensional inspection.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and the Intranet.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong ability to manage a project with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to express concepts effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Light to moderate physical exertion required
  • Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 25
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
