The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous products under development including but not limited to prototype programs and production site transfers. Apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the right product is developed to meet or exceed company's quality standard and is delivered at the right time.
- Leads program teams and facilitates the communication and interaction among the functional representatives.
- Tracks program against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives, reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis.
- Leads with members of production and engineering staff to solve problems associated with design and manufacturing of products.
- Develops and implements recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
- Coordinates with customers, through marketing and sales, to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedback.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 6 – 8 years of experience in a manufacturing, technical environment is desired.
Physical Demands:
- Mostly office-based but may spend some time standing and walking on production floor or dev. lab.
- May be required to operate a computer as well as some production machinery and lab equipment.
- Occasionally may have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds.
