Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and consult to Owners on their overall buildings project from conception through closeout with a focus on budget, schedule, scope and quality.
  • Lead multiple project meetings, document minutes and follow up on open items
  • Manage a project team comprised of project controls, schedulers, estimators, clerk of the works as well as subject matter experts
  • Lead teams in the review of design documents, constructability reviews, and value engineering studies.
  • Coordinate and lead designer, contractor and 3rd party procurement efforts
  • Maintain master project budgets, develop cash flows and advise Owner on Estimate at Completion (EAC)
  • Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance
  • Review and advise on project change orders and assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget
  • Communicate project progress with clients; advise of needed project decisions and assist is overall project strategy.

Qualifications
  • Resides in or around Central Ct (Hartford Area)
  • Minimum of 10 yrs experience in Building Construction
  • Certified Construction manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of CT preferred OR must have the ability to obtain when on board
  • CT DOT Project experience is desired but not necessary
  • Has a valid license and would be willing to commute to projects across Eastern and Central CT
  • Knowledge of Compass and/or Astro Project Management software would be considered a plus.
  • Ability to Pass a background check with the Dept. of Corrections (DOC)
  • Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum Maximum

Skills Required

  • Reside in or around Central Connecticut, particularly the Hartford area
  • Minimum of 10 years of building construction experience
  • Certified Construction Manager credential or Professional Engineer license in Connecticut, or ability to obtain one after joining
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to commute to projects across Eastern and Central Connecticut
  • Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Corrections
  • Degree from an accredited college in engineering, construction management, or a related field
