911 Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST) Project Manager

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee public safety program operations, administrative processes, compliance activities, and contractor staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in government program management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee staff responsible for application processing, correspondence, data entry, and administrative support.
- Manage training program approval and renewal processes, including application reviews and compliance monitoring.
- Assign workloads, track progress, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Review work products for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, leadership, and contract personnel.
- Prepare regular status reports and identify operational risks or improvement opportunities.
- Recommend process enhancements, quality assurance measures, and workflow improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working within a state health department or similar government environment.
- Experience supporting program approvals, renewals, compliance reviews, or regulatory processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Public safety, emergency management, healthcare, licensing, or regulatory program experience.
- Team leadership and contractor oversight experience.
- Process improvement and quality assurance expertise.
