What you’ll be doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the relationship with some of our key clients, as well as managing one or more projects.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle from scoping, discovery, design and delivery across a range of projects from brand strategy to design sprints, website and application builds and post-launch maintenance & support retainers.
- Manage small-to-medium sized projects up to ~£200k – including design, development and maintenance projects.
- Build relationships with key clients.
- Managing your team’s work, progress, removing blockers and keeping projects running on time and to scope and budget.
- Use agile / scrum methodologies to set up and manage projects using Jira.
- Reporting on project status, scope, risks, and issues to clients.
- Support with scoping and estimating new work.
- Writing Statements of Work or Change Request documents.
- Supporting improvements to our delivery processes, tools and documentation across the agency.
What we are looking for
You’ll be highly organised, self-sufficient and able to context switch. You’ll be passionate about digital and customer experience and great at building relationships.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the following:
- 2+ years consultancy or agency experience
- Ability to manage digital projects e.g. design or CMS builds
- Understanding of technical / software development workflow
- Strong commercial acumen
- A hands-on approach – we all muck in
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of agile and waterfall methodology
- Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Confluence, Trello, JIRA, Forecast app)
- Experience working on service desk style maintenance & support projects
Bonus points if you have
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience managing retainers
- Prince 2, Scrum master qualified
