Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager-Transit Projects, we'll count on you to:

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects
• Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development
• Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for design compliance
• Manage design compliance team, assign, and track their timely reviews
• Participate and lead agency owner and key stakeholder meetings
• Supervise project controls, production, and document control team members
• Review and approve subsconsultant invoices and escalate issues to management team
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
• Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
• 7 years related experience, and a minimum of 2 years Project Management experience.
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong project experience in Transit related facility design design/development
• PE is Preferred.
• Background in project controls and budget oversight.
• Ability to make decisions quickly
• Has a strong understanding of identifying and mitigating performance issues,
• Local candidates are preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) In New York City the Pay Transparency Range is $133,175-$190,250 annually.
