As a Project Manager within OTC Derivatives & Structured Securitization Technology, you architect, design, build, and maintain high-quality document solutions to streamline business processes. You develop structured templates and integrations, partnering with business, IT, DevOps, and cloud teams across the full development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and support. You drive production readiness through UAT coordination, governance and documentation, performance tuning, and effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect SmartDX/Thunderhead document solutions across OTC Derivatives and Structured Securitization products to standardize and streamline workflows.
- Develop structured, data-driven templates using XML, JSON, and XPath aligned to business requirements.
- Enhance document automation using scripting such as JavaScript and PowerShell to improve flexibility and maintainability.
- Integrate SmartComms solutions with upstream/downstream systems via REST/SOAP APIs to enable end-to-end automation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and working implementations across all SDLC stages.
- Partner with IT, DevOps, and cloud teams to support regression testing, CI/CD deployments, release management, and ongoing maintenance.
- Proactively conduct UAT support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning/optimization of the document generation process while driving best practices, documentation, and governance.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Hands-on experience building and supporting SmartDX/Thunderhead (SmartComms) document solutions in an enterprise environment
- Strong development capability with XML, JSON, and XPath for structured template design
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript for solution development and automation scripting
- Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP), CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on exposure to SmartIQ and RPA tools such as UiPath
- Cross-asset FX/Derivatives experience within a global financial institution
- Practical understanding of front-to-back business processes for OTC and securitized derivative products
