Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time PE licensed Project Manager, Site Development based in our Houston office. This position will lead the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial development projects. The Project Manager will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public, private, and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.

  • Lead and mentor a group of technical professionals – engineers and technical support- to serve our clients well

  • Engage in the proposal and client agreement development and execution

  • Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders

  • Be respectful of client time-lines through effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedules

  • Champion the professional development of each member of a project team according to each member’s individual goals and career path

  • Seek guidance from other leaders; be open to suggestions in various aspects of project management

  • Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations

  • Additional related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

  • 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management

  • Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others will aid in your success

  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees

  • There may be times when working overtime is necessary
