We are looking for a Project Manager, Signaling in our Sacramento, CA office.

This role will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of signaling systems from design and integration through testing, commissioning, and operational handover.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railway signaling, systems integration, and project delivery, with experience managing safety-critical rail systems and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the delivery of signaling and train control systems throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate interfaces between signaling, telecommunications, rolling stock, operations, track, power, and civil engineering disciplines.
• Oversee integration of train control systems with interlocking, traffic management, communications, train detection, and operational control systems.
• Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and technical stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Lead testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and system handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, safety assurance processes, and project specifications.

The Expertise You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in railway signaling, train control, or rail systems project delivery.
• Experience managing the delivery of ETCS, CBTC, PTC, ATP, ATO, or similar signaling and train control systems.
• Strong understanding of railway systems engineering, systems integration, and safety-critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience integrating signaling systems with telecommunications, rolling stock, and operational control systems.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage external suppliers and contractors.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex transportation or infrastructure projects with budget and schedule accountability.

Compensation & Pay Transparency 

At Egis, we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process, we've included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $160,000 – $240,000 annually.

In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and other employee programs.
