The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager is responsible for owning the delivery of assigned software projects by aligning client expectations, technical execution, timelines, risks, dependencies and communication across teams. The role ensures that project outcomes are delivered on time, within agreed scope and quality expectations, while enabling technical teams to stay focused, organized and accountable. The Senior Project Manager works closely with clients, internal stakeholders, technical teams, QA teams and third-party vendors to clarify requirements, manage delivery risks, resolve blockers and support effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Own the planning, coordination and delivery governance of assigned software projects, ensuring scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and milestones are clearly defined and actively managed
- Work with clients, business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure they are clear, concrete, concise, testable and aligned to business outcomes
- Translate project objectives into actionable delivery plans, including schedules, implementation plans, resourcing needs, risk mitigation plans and communication routines
- Keep technical teams focused and organized by managing priorities, removing blockers, tracking progress and facilitating timely decisions
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget considerations and quality expectations, escalating risks or trade-offs early with clear options and recommendations
- Coordinate with QA and technical teams to support testing strategy, defect resolution, release readiness and overall delivery quality
- Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, action trackers, risk logs and decision records for assigned projects
- Prepare and present project updates to clients, senior stakeholders and internal teams, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, decisions required and next steps
- Build effective working relationships with clients, internal teams and third-party vendors by setting expectations, managing communication and resolving conflicts that may affect delivery
- Use appropriate project management tools, reporting methods and AI-enabled productivity approaches to improve project visibility, follow-up, documentation and delivery tracking where relevant
Technical Skills:
- Strong working experience in project planning, delivery tracking, milestone management, dependency management, risk identification and mitigation
- Experience managing multiple software projects independently across different project types such as web, mobile, desktop, data migration or related software delivery environments
- Experience working with software development lifecycle practices and project delivery methods, including Agile and Waterfall approaches
- Experience coordinating with technical teams, QA teams, clients and third-party vendors to resolve delivery issues and maintain project momentum
- Experience preparing project reports, status updates, dashboards or stakeholder communications for senior teams and clients
- Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
- Strong understanding of software delivery, project management practices, quality expectations and cross-functional team coordination
- Practical understanding of testing coordination, defect triage, release readiness and how QA activities connect to project delivery
- Knowledge of technologies used in web and mobile application development, including user interface considerations, analytics, SEO or CRM/eCRM concepts
- Awareness of current AI tools and methods that can support project planning, documentation, reporting, follow-up, analysis and team productivity, with sound judgement on when and how to use them

- Ability to identify delivery issues, evaluate alternatives and drive practical resolutions without waiting for problems to escalate

- Ability to maintain structure across tasks, timelines, documentation, follow-ups and communication so that teams have clarity on priorities and ownership
- Ability to take ownership for project outcomes, follow through on commitments and ensure open items are tracked to closure
- Ability to work effectively with clients, technical teams, QA teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to keep delivery aligned and communication clear
- Ability to adjust plans and priorities under changing circumstances while protecting project objectives and keeping stakeholders informed
- Ability to explain technical and project matters confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Work Experience:
- Over 12 years of total professional experience, including at least 8 years of relevant experience in software project management or delivery management roles
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical/scientific discipline is preferred
