Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead end-to-end implementation of QGenda across MUSC Community Physicians, from planning through go-live and stabilization
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, clinical leadership, and system administrators
Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for implementation efforts across multiple departments and sites
Partner with physician leaders, administrators, and schedulers to understand operational needs and align system design
Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and decision-making forums
Communicate project updates, risks, and changes clearly and proactively
System Implementation & Coordination
Collaborate with QGenda system administrators and analysts to support system configuration, scheduling templates, and workflows
Ensure consistency and standardization of scheduling practices where appropriate, while accommodating operational nuances
Oversee data migration, validation, and system testing efforts
Coordinate go-live planning, including readiness assessments and support structures
Change Management & Adoption
Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption across diverse user groups
Identify potential resistance points and proactively address adoption challenges
Partner with training teams to ensure effective onboarding, education, and support materials
Promote best practices and standardized workflows across the organization
Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identify project risks, barriers, and dependencies early and develop mitigation strategies
Escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution in a timely manner
Adapt project plans in response to evolving organizational priorities or constraints
Post-Implementation Optimization
Support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
Partner with analytics and operations teams to evaluate system effectiveness and clinic utilization outcomes
Transition ongoing support and ownership to operational and system administration teams

Successful, on-time rollout of QGenda across MUSC Community Physicians
High adoption and satisfaction among providers, schedulers, and administrators
Standardized, efficient scheduling workflows across sites
Minimal disruption to clinical operations during implementation
Clear visibility into scheduling, capacity, and utilization post-implementation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3–5+ years experience, preferably in healthcare leadership, operations, project management, or systems implementation
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Experience managing timelines, risks, and deliverables in a structured project
environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with healthcare scheduling systems (QGenda strongly preferred; Amion, Kronos, Shift Admin, etc. also relevant)
Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
Familiarity with provider scheduling, ambulatory operations, or clinical workflows
Experience with large-scale system implementations or digital transformations
Experience with data reporting or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
Growth & Career Path
This role is designed as both an implementation leadership position and a pathway to long-term ownership of QGenda within MUSC Community Physicians.
Following a successful rollout, this position may transition into a Senior Analyst role responsible for ongoing system optimization, analytics, governance, and strategic scheduling initiatives across the network.
Work Environment
This role requires collaboration across a broad network of clinical and administrative stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a dynamic healthcare environment, managing competing priorities, and driving alignment across diverse teams and locations. This is a hybrid position based in Charleston, SC, but depending on the location of the candidate, a remote position can be considered (if candidate is in a different SC location that is convenient to an MUSC hospital).
