The Capital Engineering team of DuPont’s Cheonan site is looking for a Project Manager who will execute different operational and construction-related projects of the site.  

Responsibilities

• Performs project execution tasks in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.

• Lead Capital Projects in various businesses in DuPont mainly for Cheonan, Korea and other sites in the AP region as Project Team Leader following directions from the project steering team

• Develop project core team with help from business engineering teams globally, engineering functions in AP region and contracted engineering firm.

• Plans, designs and estimates time and cost and oversees construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.

• Prioritizes work and implements a staffing plan. Accountable for establishing and meeting cost/capital budgets and effective technology delivery.

• Experienced professional or supervisor responsible for completing complex tasks requiring interpretation of policies and practices.

Qualification and Experience

• Deep understanding of global safety policy and Korean regulations & trends related to construction project execution.

• Fluent in English and project experience with a global company.

• Need to meet one of the below requirements;

  • 5 years of minimum experience in plant construction project as project manager, construction manager or project engineer.

  • 10 years of minimum experience in plant construction projects as a project engineer.

  • 10 years of minimum experience as a plant engineer (Chemical or Mechanical) or manufacturing engineer in the electronic material business.

Preferred Skills & Qualities

• Understanding in Capital Project Processes such as Front-End Loading, Project Execution, and Project Controls.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written English

• Planning/organizing, Influencing skill, project milestone management

• Cross-cultural awareness

• Critical thinking & Problem-solving skill

• Willingness to challenge the norm and drive for innovation
