Project Manager – Pipe Technologies

Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to support our PVC fusion and other pipe technologies.  This position is a remote position based in Florida.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a PVC pipeline or related industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Ability to foresee and mitigate potential issues affecting project profitability

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing projects, ensuring their timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining excellent customer relations
• Serve as the primary point of contact between UGS and customers for project delivery and services
• Manage projects ensuring adherence to UGS procedures and policies
• Coordinate and conduct project kick-off meetings with all necessary staff
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, promptly communicating potential delays or cost overruns to the VP of Operations
• Resolve project conflicts, working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and review project close-outs for accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date project listings and status reports
• Develop tools, policies, and procedures to support company growth, productivity, and profit goals
