The Role

You will be part of the Payments Tech team in Business Banking Tech. This team has CBA group wide responsibility for payments strategy, portfolio delivery and operations – both domestically as well as international.

In this innovative and exciting role, you will Lead the delivery of project and associated organisational changes to achieve objectives and business benefits.

You will also effectively manage relationships and communications with product and project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.

Responsibilities include

  • Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations
  • Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff
  • Develop robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
  • Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery
  • Manage and report project expenditures and benefits realisation
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Application and demonstration of knowledge and understanding of the project’s impact (on people, process and technology) within the Group
  • Manages organizational change requirements with the business and OCM professionals.
  • Identifying, monitoring and implementing controls to mitigate key risks on the project

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Project Management Experience of 3 years + either in business and technology project implementation
  • Experience managing team sizes of 10 or more
  • Budget management of $1-$5 million
  • Cross Functional Management in a single Business Unit
  • Knowledge and experience in using industry recognised project management and/or solution delivery

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Payments & Technology experience such as NPP, DE, IMT and RTGS etc.
  • Experience in Cloud and Data Migrations desirable
  • Change Governance and Operational Readiness experience
  • Relevant business and/or technology undergraduate tertiary qualifications
  • Recognised industry certifications/accreditations in project management theory and methods.
