We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager (m/w/d) – Manufacturing Operations to lead the daily operations, and continuous improvement of our VH10 Repair Center in Nürnberg, Bayern, Germany.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong project management, operational excellence, and cross functional collaboration skills to ensure the repair center operates safely, efficiently, and effectively.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Leading site operations and facility management, ensuring efficient support for manufacturing, engineering, quality, warehousing, and logistics activities.
- Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, 5S principles, and workplace organization.
- Managing production planning and execution, coordinating schedules, resources, and priorities to consistently meet customer commitments.
- Overseeing warehousing and inventory operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, material availability, and efficient inbound and outbound logistics.
- Supporting business growth through process development, implementing scalable operational processes and repair strategies for traction products and related technologies.
- Ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards across inspection, testing, repair, and operational processes.
- Leading and developing operational teams, providing guidance and direction to technicians and site personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
- Enabling business readiness and system integration, supporting ERP implementation, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making to enhance operational effectiveness.

- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive operational priorities.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics processes, ensuring efficient and effective end-to-end operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, enabling you to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience managing manufacturing, repair, remanufacturing, or distribution operations, with a strong understanding of operational processes and performance management.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and the ability to leverage business systems to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Professional certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management are preferred and will support success in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
