Build Projects. Build Relationships. Build Something Better.

At Birdwatch, we're redefining what homeowners expect from home maintenance and improvement. Our members trust us to care for their homes, and when they're ready for a larger home improvement project, we're the team they call.

We're looking for a Project Manager to lead residential projects throughout Loudoun County, while supporting select projects across the greater DMV region. You'll oversee medium- to large-scale home improvement projects—including basement finishes, kitchen and bathroom remodels, decks, additions, roofing, siding, windows, flooring, exterior renovations, and other major residential improvements.

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, staying organized, and seeing projects come to life, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll own your projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring every homeowner has an exceptional experience along the way.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout their project.

  • Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, inspections, permits, schedules, and materials.

  • Keep projects moving on time and within budget.

  • Communicate proactively with homeowners so they always know what's happening next.

  • Ensure work meets Birdwatch's quality standards before project completion.

  • Identify issues early and work collaboratively to solve them.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and change orders.

  • Partner closely with our Director of Projects to continuously improve how we deliver projects.

What Success Looks Like

The best Project Managers don't just finish projects—they create confidence.

In this role you'll be successful by:

  • Delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.

  • Creating an outstanding homeowner experience.

  • Building strong relationships with contractors and vendor partners.

  • Staying highly organized and keeping every project moving forward.

  • Communicating clearly, proactively, and professionally.

  • Taking ownership and following through on commitments.

We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Has experience managing residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement projects.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day looks a little different.

  • Loves solving problems before they become emergencies.

  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Communicates exceptionally well with both homeowners and contractors.

  • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work and an even better customer experience.

  • Is comfortable using technology to manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation.

Why Birdwatch?

We're building something different.

Birdwatch combines technology, trusted relationships, and exceptional service to create an entirely new homeowner experience. We believe great projects are built on great communication, transparency, and follow-through.

You'll join a collaborative team that values ownership, continuous improvement, and doing the right thing for our members every time.

If you're excited about building projects, strengthening relationships, and helping shape the future of home services, we'd love to talk.
