Job Summary: In this role, you will be based in Karnataka, responsible to lead and oversee utility scale projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage the development and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary;
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle;
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management;
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed;
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement quality control measures to meet project specifications;
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and other sustainable solutions;
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency;
- Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries, to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field;
- PMP certified with minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in the renewable energy sector;
- Proven track record of successfully building and managing large-scale renewable energy projects;
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project or similar tools;
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Must be willing to be based at project site in Karnataka;
- Proficiency in the local languages of Karnataka (Kannada) is essential.
