$100,000.00-$125,000.00Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology is responsible for the laboratory testing of blood, urine, and body fluids for disease diagnosis and health maintenance. Utilizing the latest advances in computer technology, the Division maintains millions of dollars of state-of-the-art automated equipment at its laboratory sites and services hospitals, nursing homes, the Montefiore Medical Group, faculty practices, and voluntary physicians' offices at more than 40 sites.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Pathology Operations, the Project Manager I is directly involved in the planning, management, and execution of multiple complex projects within the Clinical and Anatomic Pathology space, and in support Einstein academic programs. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to developing project plans, timelines, and milestones, as well as organizing site or section-based activities in support of projects and other initiatives. The project manager will be involved in operational and system design or redesign and may make recommendations to facilitate programmatic changes. The position will interface with Clinical and Administrative leadership, as well as Faculty and staff in the development, support, strategy, and execution of initiatives to improve and grow the Pathology service line.
Essential Functions:
• Work with departmental leadership and laboratory clinical and administrative and leadership to ensure successful outcomes aligned with departmental vision and goals
• Prepare project work plans and timeliness for implementation of related activities
• Collaborate with leadership in transforming processes, designing new workflows and implementing new systems
• Develop technical expertise in all aspects of project development
• Perform administrative functions related to the project such data reporting, and other office-based functions
• Prepare agendas and facilities department and site-based meetings
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Any STEM, Business, or Communications Related Program required; Master’s degree Any STEM, Business, or Communications Related Program preferred
• 1-3 years Project Management or Analyst Role experience required
• Project Management Professional Certification (PCP) or Cerified Associate in Project Manager (CAPM) are preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required; Microsoft Visio a plus
• Understanding of project management, basic knowledge of Budgeting & Scheduling and
• basic understanding of Resource Management
• Methodologies of Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing and ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities required
Skills Required

- Master's degree in STEM, Business, or Communications
- 1-3 years of project management or analyst role experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum methodologies
