- Prepare comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation that clearly outlines business objectives, technical and functional requirements, scope of work, evaluation criteria, timelines, and contractual expectations. Ensure that the RFP documents are aligned with organizational procurement policies and project goals, enabling vendors to understand requirements clearly and submit competitive and compliant proposals.
- Conduct detailed industry and market analysis to identify potential vendors and solution providers relevant to the project requirements. Assess vendor capabilities, market reputation, service offerings, financial stability, and experience in similar engagements. Based on this analysis, develop a recommended list of vendors to participate in the RFP process and support the vendor shortlisting process.
- Plan and manage the overall RFP lifecycle by defining timelines, milestones, communication protocols, and submission processes. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution of the RFP process, track progress against the plan, and address any issues or clarifications that arise during the proposal submission phase.
- Organize and manage vendor presentations and solution demonstrations as part of the evaluation process. Coordinate schedules, prepare evaluation guidelines for stakeholders, and ensure that vendors effectively present their proposed solutions, implementation approach, and value proposition to key decision makers.
- Lead the RFP evaluation process by establishing a structured scoring and assessment framework covering technical, functional, and commercial criteria. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional evaluation teams, collect feedback from stakeholders, and ensure that vendor proposals are evaluated in a transparent, objective, and consistent manner.
