General Description:
The Project Manager – Finance Technology Solutions leads end‑to‑end delivery of Finance Technology initiatives supporting core financial processes including Record‑to‑Report, Close & Consolidation, Treasury, Cash Management, and Financial Controls. This role partners with Finance, Treasury, Controllership, GTS, Internal Audit, and external vendors to plan, govern, and execute implementations and enhancements across enterprise finance platforms such as SAP Finance (FI/CO), Concur, Tax Engines, Kyriba (or equivalent Treasury systems), and related integrations.
The Project Manager owns delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, RAID management, governance, change control, testing, cutover, adoption, and stabilization/hypercare in a complex, global, matrixed environment.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the full project lifecycle as a PM for Finance Technology initiatives (initiate → plan → execute → test → deploy → stabilize).
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans across workstreams, milestones, dependencies, critical path, cutover, and hypercare.
- Run governance routines including status reporting, steering committee updates, decision logs, and executive‑ready communications.
- Own scope management, change control, RAID tracking, escalation management, and corrective action planning.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Drive alignment across Finance, Treasury, Controllership, Internal Audit, IT, and external vendors through structured workshops and communications.
- Translate finance business objectives into executable technology delivery plans.
- Manage delivery partners and vendors, including SOW milestones, deliverable acceptance, financial tracking, and issue resolution.
Solution Implementation
- Lead implementations and enhancements across Finance Technology platforms, including:
- SAP Finance (FI/CO, GL, AP/AR integrations)
- Financial Close, Reconciliation, and Controls platforms (e.g., BlackLine or comparable)
- Treasury and Cash Management systems (e.g., Kyriba or comparable)
- Coordinate integrations with ERP, banking partners, data warehouses, and upstream/downstream systems.
- Oversee data readiness, migration, environment coordination, and release management.
- Coordinate testing activities (SIT/UAT), deployment readiness, training, and user adoption.
Quality, Risk, and Outcomes
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, financial controls, security, compliance, audit readiness, and operational continuity.
- Partner with Finance and Audit stakeholders to ensure control impacts are understood and addressed during delivery.
- Track post‑go‑live outcomes, stabilization metrics, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technology project management experience delivering enterprise solutions (implementation and/or major enhancements).
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project/program certification.
- Strong delivery discipline: planning, RAID, change control, financial/budget awareness, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external delivery partners/vendors.
- Strong understanding of SDLC / implementation lifecycle; able to coordinate requirements, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior Finance Technology implementation experience with SAP Finance (FI/CO), BlackLine, Kyriba, or comparable finance/treasury platforms.
- Experience coordinating ERP and finance system integrations, data migration, and global rollouts.
- Familiarity with finance transformation challenges, including process standardization, controls alignment, localization, and change management.
- Experience working with PMO tooling, delivery dashboards, and executive‑level reporting.
- Exposure to adjacent finance platforms such as consolidation, planning, reporting, workflow, or controls automation tools.
