The Project Manager position in Camden, NJ, reporting to the Project Management Group within the Nuclear Power Division of Holtec International.
The position is responsible for the successful implementation of projects primarily focused on storage and transportation of Spent Nuclear Fuel within the US. Periodic travel is required (10-15%).
Principal duties include:
- Project planning and execution within budget, schedule, and contract requirements
- Project risk identification and mitigation planning
- Compliance with contract in a cost-effective and technically sound manner
- Interfacing directly with internal engineering, manufacturing, construction, and fuel loading teams.
- Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders, as needed across including executive team
- Facilitating design reviews design for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards
- Approval of design changes, specifications, engineering analyses, and drawings
- Preparation of proposals and commercial quotes of out-of-scope work as required
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, four-year university
- 5 Years’ experience with relevant project management, project controls, or project engineering experience
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident Status
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university
- Scheduling experience using Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Familiarity or experience within the nuclear power industry
