Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, hands-on, and strategic Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a PM - Contingent Workforce, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our staffing operations. You will be responsible for overseeing contractors (independent contractors, freelancers, agency contractors), providing recommendations on rates strategy, establishing a robust contracting framework, and managing the end-to-end contractor and Employer of Record lifecycle. Your role will involve seamless on-boarding, day-to-day management, and contributing to operational excellence and process improvement. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing contractor management workflows, enhancing overall efficiency, and ensuring best-in-class operations. 
  • Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of current contractor management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to drive engagement and operational effectiveness. 
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Streamline and oversee end-to-end contractor onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning, invoicing, and ensuring strict adherence to standardized procedures, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Contract Management System Development: Oversee the development and optimization of the contract management system, ensuring it is fully aligned with organizational needs, scalable, and capable of supporting future growth. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with key stakeholders (Legal, Business Process teams, Finance) to design and maintain a comprehensive contracting framework that upholds compliance, mitigates risk, and meets operational standards. 
  • Issue Resolution: Manage contractor and Employer of Record (EOR) issues with a proactive approach, delivering timely, effective solutions to queries and challenges, ensuring seamless contractor engagement. 
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop robust reporting mechanisms to monitor contractor performance, budget adherence, and compliance, contributing to the continuous enhancement of contractor management tools and processes. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in contingent workforce and contracts management – 5+ years preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of labor law risks, compliance requirements, and market trends. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Analytical thinker with a logical approach to decision-making and strategy development.
