About The Role
We are looking for a Project Manager (Card Acquiring) to lead and coordinate projects across the card payments ecosystem, including payment schemes, acquiring infrastructure, payment processing, and payment gateway services. The role involves close collaboration with Visa, Mastercard, processing centers, Compliance & Risk teams, and Payment Gateway teams to ensure the successful implementation of new requirements, products, and services.
Key Responsibilities
Payment Scheme Requirements- Review and monitor Visa and Mastercard rules, regulations, standards, and operational requirements.
- Communicate Visa and Mastercard requirements to internal teams and provide guidance on their implementation.
- Support Compliance and Risk teams in understanding and interpreting Visa and Mastercard requirements and assessing their impact on the business.
- Communicate directly with Visa and Mastercard representatives on operational, regulatory, and technical matters.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of new Visa and Mastercard projects, products, services, and requirements.
- Ensure the timely delivery of projects in line with payment scheme requirements and internal business objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with payment processing partners.
- Coordinate the implementation of new projects, products, and technical changes in cooperation with processing partners.
- Manage project requirements, timelines, dependencies, and communication between internal teams and processing partners.
- Work closely with the Payment Gateway team on the implementation of new services and payment solutions.
- Support the translation of business and payment scheme requirements into clear implementation tasks.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure the successful launch of new payment services.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Experience in payment acquiring, card payments, payment processing, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of Visa and Mastercard rules, requirements, and the broader payment ecosystem.
- Experience working with payment schemes, processors, payment gateways, or other payment service providers.
- Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Compliance, Risk, Product, Technology, and Operations teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand complex regulatory and technical requirements and translate them into clear business actions.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
