Project Manager – Academic Operations

GURUSETU is a prestigious national initiative by AICTE focused on capacity building of faculty across technical institutions in India. This project involves developing high-quality educational content modules, managing academic operations, and creating comprehensive learning management systems to enhance faculty development nationwide.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Academic Operations to lead the end-to-end management of GURUSETU's academic operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with resource institutions, managing content development across nine thematic verticals, and ensuring seamless delivery of faculty development programs.

Academic Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end academic operations for GURUSETU's faculty development programs
  

• Coordinate with multiple resource institutions for content development and delivery
  

• Manage the development timeline for six high-quality content modules across thematic verticals
  

• Facilitate pilot course launches and monitor their effectiveness
  

Content Development & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and resource persons to develop comprehensive course modules
  

• Ensure content quality standards and alignment with national faculty development objectives
  

• Manage thematic vertical mapping and sub-topic identification
  

• Oversee sample course presentations and feedback incorporation
  

• Maintain content repositories and version control
  

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with AICTE leadership, resource institutions, and faculty members
  

• Coordinate review meetings, presentations, and feedback sessions
  

• Manage communication between various project stakeholders
  

• Prepare progress reports and project documentation
  

Digital Strategy & Optimization

• Implement SEO strategies to enhance content visibility
  

• Develop digital marketing approaches for faculty engagement
  

• Analyze performance data to optimize learning outcomes
  

• Ensure compliance with IP policy and contributor agreements
  

Educational Background

• Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field
  

• MBA in Digital Marketing or equivalent preferred
  

• Technical certifications in web development, LMS platforms, or educational technology
  

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in academic operations and e-learning
  

• Proven track record in managing large-scale educational projects
  

• Experience with Learning Management Systems implementation and management
  

• Background in curriculum development and instructional design
  

• Experience in coordinating with multiple institutions and stakeholders
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
  

• Web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress)
  

• UI/UX design capabilities for educational platforms
  

• SEO and digital marketing expertise
  

• Data analytics and performance optimization
