Mission of the Role

We are looking for a motivated, highly adaptable, and business-savvy individual to join our team and drive growth—both commercial and technical—for our core AI and autonomous driving product, 'AYT'.

This is a dynamic, hybrid role. The candidate will be heavily involved in Technical Project Management (PM) and Business Development (BD). You will act as the critical bridge managing internal technical coordination with engineers and the CEO, while simultaneously driving external client-facing relationships and securing critical permits/deals. The exact distribution of each responsibility is fluid based on company priorities and will vary over time.

This role requires a high degree of adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, proactive communication, an eagerness to learn deep tech, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities1. Project Management & Internal Collaboration
  • Technical Project Leadership: Develop a deep understanding of the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) platform architecture, capabilities, and operational constraints to effectively communicate technical concepts with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage autonomous vehicle development projects by defining project plans, coordinating engineering activities, monitoring project progress through JIRA, proactively managing risks and issues, and ensuring on-time delivery of project milestones.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate multiple engineering and business teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive successful project execution.
  • Operational Support: Maintain project documentation, track action items, and support management during project reviews and customer meetings.
2. Business Development & Deal Management
  • Business Opportunity Management: Manage business opportunities from initial customer engagement through contract execution across government and commercial autonomous mobility sectors.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare technical and commercial proposals, presentations, development plans, project schedules, and cost estimates to support customer engagements and strategic business opportunities.
3. Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison and build trusted relationships with high-level external stakeholders, including central government ministries, national agencies, and public organizations.
  • Permits & Regulatory Compliance: Lead negotiations and drive the process to obtain regulatory approvals, permits, and regulatory sandbox exemptions required for deploying autonomous vehicle solutions.
    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing software or autonomous system development projects as a Project Manager.
  • Experience in the automotive, autonomous mobility, or robotics industry.
  • Exceptional command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Native in Korean (mandatory) and fluent in English.
  • Excellent business communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly across diverse audiences.
  • Keen interest to learn, explore, and grasp technical topics related to autonomous vehicle technologies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and industry trends.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to evolving project requirements.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with government ministries, regulatory bodies, or public-sector agencies, including navigating approval or permitting processes.
  • Experience managing business development or deal-cycle activities (customer engagement, proposal development, contract negotiation) in a B2B or B2G context.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior external stakeholders, including government officials and executive-level customer contacts.
  • Experience with Cyber Security engineering or compliance.
  • Experience working with functional safety or other safety-critical systems.
  • Experience with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) software development processes.
  • Experience using project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
