Your role as a Project Management Volunteer is designed to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact of our partner, Heal Our People (HOP)'s projects by contributing expertise in planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. You will assist HOP in fulfilling its mission and objectives through organized project management practices.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, establish timelines, delegate tasks, and lead team meetings.
- Efficiently allocate budget, personnel, and materials. Track resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary.
- Recognize potential risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, collect and analyze data, and produce progress reports.
- Hold regular meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote open communication.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, prepare regular updates, and ensure timely reporting to donors and stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on best practices and tools for project management.
- Establish quality control procedures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with established standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Essential Background:
- 2-3 years of experience in project management, ideally in sectors such as community development, healthcare, education, or environmental conservation.
- Experience within the specific field of the organization, including non-profit, humanitarian aid, or development.
- Ability to lead project teams, collaborate with team members, and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in overseeing project budgets, financial tracking, and reporting activities.

Selection and Screening
If you are shortlisted, you will need to:
- Confirm passport or permanent resident details for travel
- Provide two professional references and one personal reference
- Complete a language assessment during the initial phone interview
- Pass a police check and medical clearance before departure

- Agree to uphold the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and Code of Conduct
