Job DescriptionAre you an experienced IT Project Leader with expertise in WIOA Business Services? We are seeking highly qualified candidates for a short-term contract opportunity within Florida.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting workforce development initiatives across the state.
📌 Position Details
- Title: Project Leader – Advanced (Job #8230)
- Location: Across Florida – travel may be required to support 21 Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs)
- Start Date: Targeted for November 5, 2025
- Duration: Through June 30, 2026 (with potential for renewal)
- Compensation: Hourly
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Deliver WIOA Business Services training to local workforce boards.
- Coordinate and manage project-oriented work efforts.
- Track milestones, assemble project plans, and oversee daily task execution.
- Identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Facilitate communication across key stakeholders to ensure project success.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of IT work experience, with 2+ years managing projects.
- Demonstrated experience in WIOA Business Services, such as:
- Job recruitment and hiring assistance
- Apprenticeships and on-the-job training
- Rapid response and layoff aversion
- Labor market analysis and customized training
🔒 Additional Requirements
- Must pass a Level II background screening (including FBI fingerprinting).
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and complete E-Verify verification.
- Resume must be accurate and self-certified.
- Must be available for possible interview during Oct. 29–31.
