In this role you will oversee complex maintenance work or replacement projects for electrical installations. Additionally, you will be deployed as a technical specialist in new projects and will be responsible for the proper delivery of the electrical installations. This involves providing input in drafting specifications and evaluating quotes. You will efficiently and profitably execute projects according to given specifications and schedules, and establish a budget for the different subprojects. You will write specification texts following procurement guidelines and create schedules for various projects. You will work in a team with other disciplines (such as mechanical engineering) and coordinate well with each other.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Daily leadership on a project, ensuring good work organization and safety at the construction site;
- Safety for yourself and the team. It is your responsibility to comply with safety regulations and apply work instructions and procedures correctly during the execution phase;
- Being the point of contact for the client, planners, technicians, subcontractors, and temporary workers;
- Processing and keeping track of the progress of work, technical, administrative, and financial handling in the asset management system;
- Identifying trends and making improvement proposals based on fault analyses, production conditions, and/or maintenance inspections.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering;
- Certificates for Responsible Person (WV) HS/LS and VCA VOL, or willingness to obtain them;
- 2 years of experience as a project leader in electrical installations;
- Extensive experience in a technical operational function;
- Experience in project management of maintenance work on electrical equipment (preferred);
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and a critical eye;
- Proficiency in Dutch, English, and German;
- A driver's license (Category B).
