Last Energy is productizing a micro-modular nuclear plant and transforming the manufacturing process with the goal of delivering hundreds of installations per year by the end of the decade. We are in the process of doubling our engineering team to deliver on our first power plant by 2025.
Our organizational structure allows for "Swiss-Army knife contributors" who have the ability to fulfill various roles depending on the project type, their interest, expertise, and availability.
These functional divisions include:
(A) project owner, (B) subject matter expert / advisor, (C) individual contributor / design engineer, (D) research analyst or (E) external relationship manager.
The role of Project Engineer is ideal for a mid-career candidate who may be interested in some project management or have some outward facing responsibilities but still stay involved in design engineering and may be feeling pigeon-holed or up against a ceiling at their current role.
We look for:
• Insatiable appetite for learning
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Creativity and willingness to take on new challenges
• Extreme flexibility and open to "kill their darlings"
• Discipline, thoroughness, and extreme focus when needed
If this sounds like you, we'd love to chat!
