The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with a focus towards Automation & Control. E.g., Electrical, Instrumentation.
A minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience in industrial automation solutions.
A technical knowledge within control systems, instrumentation, or validation related engineering discipline across multiple industries.
Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA and/or FactoryTalk Software will be a distinct advantage
Flexibility in approach to work and the ability to work within a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability in analysis and troubleshooting.
Openness to collaboration within diverse teams.
Manage the complexity of information and multiple partners to find solutions.
Development attitude as an approach to a daily work.
Documentation skills are main area to work on regularly.
Experience in FactoryTalk products.
What you will do:
Be a member of a project team tasked with developing new Oil and Gas projects on Rockwell Automation platform.
Design and test of control system software including control modules, equipment modules, graphics, alarms and safety interlocks.
Generate detailed design documents and qualification documents.
Ensure that automation systems and associated documents are designed in compliance with all relevant standards.
Develop proficiency in ControlLogix Programming, Equipment phase, Equipment module, Control module, SCADA, Network Distributed HMI, Drives (AB),
knowledge of communication protocols like DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus communication.
