What You’ll Focus On
- Driving performance improvements across complex facilities.
- Designing, optimizing, and fine-tuning BMS architecture.
- Engaging directly with HVAC equipment and building automation systems.
- Applying thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and system mechanics to real-world infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently conduct site visits and energy audits to gather field data and assess system performance.
- Perform engineering analysis and energy savings calculations to deliver clean, actionable engineering reports.
- Support the design of HVAC and building control systems across diverse client facilities.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, client teams, and field engineers throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college
- General understanding of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), energy-using equipment, and cross-system interactions.
- Ability to execute energy calculations and translate field data into formal engineering deliverables.
- Strong technical writing and verbal skills for client-facing interaction and clear documentation.
- Current Covid and Flu Vaccination may be required in order to be considered for the position due to client contract requirements.
