• Lead engineering teams to make plans, execute and govern projects within budgets and schedules. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project engineer will lead engineering team to define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycleResponsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project status updates to Global Leadership Team, covering schedule, cost, safety, quality, risks, and key business impacts.
- Lead cross functional teams including operation, EHS, engineering work on the project scope, budget estimation, working plan and risk control
- Lead operation team and engineering team apply good engineering practice for new projects.
- Lead project safety management during project construction phase, including leading safety morning meeting, drive project safety leading indication like safety topic sharing, drive risk stop -thinking -act culture. Manage project schedules, milestones, and objectives to ensure alignment with project goals, safety requirements, and execution plans. Organize and lead key project meetings, including project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder updates. Drive effective communication, cross-functional coordination, and timely follow-up of action items to ensure successful project delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Accountable to project safety, timelines and budgets , manage charge order, periodically deliver project reports to project stakeholders demonstrating execution and accurate updates of Milestones, Budgets, Timeline, safety Issues and Mitigation Plans.
- Ensures internal and external regulations are properly followed during project execution. Liaison with MPM Corporate safety, health and environmental professionals.
- Leads and org manufacturing team on commissioning and start-up activity after mechanical completion.
- Ensure documentation for Projects is up to date and easily accessible.
- Maintaining links with MPM Regional manufacturing and engineering experts. Adopts best practice and world manufacturing class system during project design stage.
- Maintain and develop engineering capabilities (design, scale-up, equipment selection, control and instrumentation, process safety, etc).
- Partner with Global Operations for manufacturing activities and improvement.
