We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our collaborative and dynamic Site Development team in Houston, TX. You will serve a key role by assisting our team of engineers in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks through the design and development of site projects, including site grading, drainage, roadway and utility infrastructure, and site plan layouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and EITs to create high-quality drawings for commercial developments, multi-family developments, and private development projects.
  • Implement drawing revisions based on feedback from clients and/or Engineers.
  • Develop and/or update base drawings.
  • Be a dependable team member and proficient CAD user, managing a typical set of project documents from start to finish with professional-quality results that meet company or client standards.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adhere to CAD standards and processes.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and be able to complete assigned tasks within deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
  • Attentive and approachable. Able to navigate a dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Well organized and detail oriented

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4+ years of experience.
