As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the engineering delivery of Building Services projects for which they have been allocated. You will be responsible for coordinating the requirements of various key internal and external stakeholders ranging from Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Service, through to Customers and Customer site employees. The role is based in Cannon Hill, Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed engineering actions within budget, scope, and schedule
- Provision of technical direction and support of project team members, including planning, scheduling, flow plans, termination drawings, quality assurance etc
- Communicate and coordinate with Project leads, Project Manager and the clients as well as subcontractors for site works
- Understand the client technical requirements and translating customer requirements into clear definition of scope
- Configuring software, bench testing, FAT, and delivering commissioning packages
- Comply with Honeywell engineering methodologies as well as appropriate Australia industry standard when generating outputs
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or other relevant engineering degree
- Project management certification / qualification is desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in building services projects, with extensive on-site knowledge
- Experience working with highly complex Building Services solutions such as electronic security, BMS (highly preferred) with SCADA, ICT, and other controls are desirable
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder management
- Ability to manage highly complex projects/environment and work as a team
- Ability to direct and be self-sufficient
- Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
