Project Engineer II 


Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell HPS. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to develop program cost, schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements standard engineering solutions to successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints
  • Work with Senior Engineers to design and issue project documents, set up and configure system hardware (switches, routers, servers, stations, firewall, etc), test system/network functionalities, implement and test interfaces with 3rd party systems
  • Be able to communicate with customers
  • Know and keep yourself updated on Honeywell hardware and software solutions (Experion technology like C300, Control Builder, HMI)
  • Estimation development and analysis
  • Work with the project team to meet the project targets (delivery, quality and costs)
  • Be a technical interface for matters related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Vendor interface on third-party equipment
  • Report project status updates to Project Manager and Lead Engineer

QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in process control automation within industrial environments like oil & gas refineries, chemical plants, or paper mills
  • 2+ years of experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Ability to travel up 20% to local US sites when needed
