We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer II to lead and support capital projects, process improvement initiatives, equipment installations, and manufacturing optimization efforts at our Philadelphia, PA plant. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
What You Will Do:
Project Management
Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments.
Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manufacturing Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Equipment and Capital Projects
Lead equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
Support automation, controls, and technology upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
5 years of chemical manufacturing engineering experience or related.
Experience managing capital or process improvement projects.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Experience with CAD, ERP, MES, or CMMS systems.
