As a Project Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. Your ability to prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders will enhance transparency and enable informed decision-making. You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have an impact by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities- Support and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion as it pertains to engineering hardware for new product development.
- Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders as it pertains to engineering hardware
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members throughout the development program procurement process
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
YOU MUST HAVE
- 1 year experience in Project Engineering
- Strong time and project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn project management tools and methodologies, and experience in risk management and problem-solving
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
