The Role
Lead the strategic positioning, exhibitor curation, international buyer acquisition, relationship management, premium show experience, global marketing, and execution of the IGJS high jewellery exhibition. The role will build the show’s luxury brand identity, curate elite exhibitors, attract global buyers, manage influential industry relationships, oversee boutique event formats and hospitality standards, and lead a dedicated cross-functional team. Candidates need extensive experience in international exhibitions, luxury brand management, curated B2B platforms, and global jewellery markets.

1. Strategic Positioning & Vision
  • Define IGJS Jaipur as a high jewellery, design-led, premium sourcing platform, not a mass trade show
  • Develop a clear brand identity aligned with luxury, rarity, craftsmanship, and exclusivity
  • Benchmark global boutique shows and continuously refine positioning

 2. Exhibitor Curation (Core Responsibility)

  • Handpick and curate top-tier exhibitors:
    • High jewellery houses
    • Diamond and gemstone specialists
    • Designer brands and ateliers
  • Maintain strict quality control — limited booths, no dilution
  • Build a balanced mix of legacy brands.   

  •  3. International Buyer Acquisition
  • Personally lead global buyer outreach strategy:
    • UHNW retailers
    • Chainstores, Marquee Brands, Majors
    • Luxury boutiques
  • Ensure hosted buyer programs with strong ROI
  • Build relationships with key global markets (US, Europe, Oceania, Middle East, Far East)

 4. Relationship Management

  • Act as the face of the IGJS show internationally
  • Build long-term relationships with:
    • Top exhibitors
    • High-value buyers
    • Industry influencers
  • Conduct closed-door meetings, previews, and networking formats

 5. Show Experience & Format

  • Design a boutique, premium show format:
    • Limited exclusive exhibitors
    • Pre-scheduled meetings
    • Private viewing rooms
  • Elevate:
    • Booth aesthetics
    • Venue experience
    • Hospitality standards
  • Introduce elements like:
    • Curated showcases
    • Trend presentations

 

6. Global Marketing & Branding

  • Lead international branding strategy:
    • Luxury-focused campaigns
    • Digital + on-ground promotions
  • Collaborate with:
    • Global PR agencies
    • Industry publications
    • Influencers in jewellery & luxury space
  • Ensure consistent premium messaging across all touchpoints

 7. Team Leadership & Execution

  • Build and manage a dedicated IGJS team (exhibitor sales, buyer acquisition, marketing)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Ensure flawless execution aligned with global luxury standards
