Job Responsibilities:
Job Description Summary
At Magna, the role of the project and customs expert is to ensure the management and coordination of logistics projects (implementation, flows, processes, optimization) and handle the company's customs management, both for new projects and ongoing operations. Guarantee regulatory compliance and optimize costs and lead times related to customs operations.
Hiring Requirements
  • Planning, milestone tracking, reporting, and leading project meetings.
    Defining customs schemes for new flows.
    Supporting start-up phases.
    Preparing customs documentation.
    Daily supervision of customs operations (import/export).
    Monitoring declarations and documents, resolving disputes.
    Identifying opportunities for customs simplification (e.g., special regimes, exemptions), digitization, and process improvement.
    Ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
    Preparing customs audits and responding to authorities' requests.

  • Ensuring that all activities are realized with the awareness that our first priority is Occupational Health and Safety
  • Participation in the works carried out by the assigned employees for the coordination of occupational health and safety activities and following them up.
  • Providing the necessary resources and support for fulfilling the Legal/Customer Demands/Management Systems Standards for the period in his/her responsibility
  • Providing the necessary resources for monitoring, reviewing and improving system and process performance, and conducting activities in line with the prescribed time, cost and targets
  • Encouraging the employees for the participation in continuous improvement activities
  • Guiding the process in which he/she is responsible in line with company policies and strategies (Business Ethics/Social Responsibility/Environment/Occupational Health and Safety/Energy/Quality/Information Security)
  • Supporting the works required and encouraging employees in order to transform safe behaviors, environmentalist approach and quality production consciousness in one go into a corporate culture
  • Ensuring the active use of the QDMS Portal and following up
  • Providing the necessary resources for planning and performing internal (Process/Product/System/SMAT/EMAT etc.) or External (Legal/Customer/Supplier/Certification) audits and carrying out and reporting any audits assigned to him/her, if any.
  • Carrying out activities to reduce the damage caused by unexpected or emergency situations, supporting the preparation and implementation of plans to reduce them
  • Ensuring that the employees who are affiliated to him/her comply with the related legal requirements within the company scope and the company internal rules (Environment, quality, energy, etc.).
  • Required Profile

Bachelor's or master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
2 to 5 years of significant experience in logistics management, ideally within the industrial sector.
Fluent in French and English.
Strong command of transport and logistics techniques.
Proven ability to manage stress and conflicts.
Excellent command of IT tools (specifically ERP such as SAP, WMS, and advanced Excel).
Leadership, strong analytical skills, and the capacity for decision-making.
Highly organized, reactive/responsive, and ability to work effectively in a team.
Solid knowledge of regulations concerning transport, customs, health, and safety.
High capacity for adaptability and dynamism.
