Join a team shaping the future of aviation infrastructure and airport development across North America. TYLin is currently seeking a highly organized, proactive, and motivated Project Coordinator to support complex Aviation projects and programs in a fast-moving consulting environment.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Sector Leaders, Project Accountants, Marketing teams, and Business Development leaders to help keep major airport and aviation projects running efficiently and successfully.

For the right individual, this position can become a strong foundation for long-term advancement into Project Management, Operations, Project Controls, or Aviation leadership roles.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Controls & Project Support (75–80%)

This role will primarily focus on supporting the operational and financial management of aviation projects from a project controls and coordination perspective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Project Managers and Sector Managers with day-to-day project coordination activities

  • Assisting with the tracking and management of project budgets, schedules, scope, and overall project performance

  • Coordinating with Project Accountants on invoicing, budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, reporting systems, and project records

  • Monitoring project progress and helping ensure project deliverables stay aligned with schedules and budgets

  • Assisting with project setup, workload tracking, resource coordination, and project closeout activities

  • Preparing project status reports, dashboards, and project control documentation

  • Helping identify project risks, schedule impacts, or budget concerns and escalating appropriately

  • Coordinating communication between technical teams, project leadership, and operations support groups

  • Supporting sector leadership with portfolio-level budget and project tracking activities

  • Assisting with internal reporting and operational process improvements

  • Maintaining a high level of organization across multiple concurrent projects and priorities

Business Development & Marketing Support (20–25%)

During lighter project periods, this role will also support business development and pursuit activities within the Aviation practice.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating proposal development activities and submission schedules

  • Supporting proposal teams with formatting, document coordination, and marketing materials

  • Assisting Marketing and Pursuit Leads with proposal reviews and quality control

  • Coordinating resumes, project sheets, and pursuit documentation

  • Supporting internal business development tracking and opportunity coordination

  • Helping maintain consistency, organization, and responsiveness during active pursuits

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting or project environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Comfortable working with project budgets, schedules, spreadsheets, and reporting tools

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience supporting projects, operations, project controls, accounting coordination, or business operations is highly valued

  • Prior experience in engineering consulting, infrastructure, transportation, construction, architecture, or aviation environments is beneficial, but not required

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $85,000 - $105,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer. TYLin is proud to offer exciting career development opportunities.
