Job Purpose:

The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting project management activities across various initiatives at Valleysoft. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, effectively assisting project managers and ensuring that all project documentation, schedules, and resources are organized and efficiently managed.

The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders, tracking project progress, and helping to identify areas for improvement.


RequirementsResponsibilities:
  • Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and documentation.
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and communication with all stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Maintain and update project documentation and records.
  • Facilitate team meetings, capturing minutes and action items.
  • Support resource allocation and budget tracking as required.
  • Identify and escalate project risks or issues to project managers.
  • Help with the preparation of project status reports and presentations.
Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support in a corporate setting.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.

Preferred:

• Experience with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Previous experience in IT or consulting environments is desirable.
