Summary Generated by Built In
Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support healthcare projects—an opportunity for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys keeping complex project work moving, managing details, and serving as a trusted resource to project teams and clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who communicates clearly, balances multiple priorities with confidence, and brings strong financial and project coordination capabilities to a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

At B&D, we lead the planning, development, and management of the places that shape and strengthen communities—where people live, learn, work, and play. B&D recently joined forces with Project Management Advisors (PMA), bringing together two nationally recognized leaders in program management and real estate advisory services and expanding our capabilities across the full project lifecycle.

As a Project Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for our Orlando Health program and related healthcare projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and administrative staff to keep project information, financial tracking, documentation, meetings, and key deliverables organized and moving forward.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida, with 5 days in-office attendance expected to support the team and project needs.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, documentation, correspondence, and follow-up activities across project teams.

  • Create and maintain organized electronic project files and project documentation in accordance with established procedures.

  • Support project financial management by assisting with budgets, cash-flow estimates, commitment schedules, monthly draw packages, payables, and financial reporting.

  • Gather and review information from project stakeholders to support accurate reporting and timely processing of key deliverables.

  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, appointments, and site visits; prepare agendas, presentation materials, and supporting documents.

  • Attend project meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items through completion.

  • Support coordination among clients, designers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project team members.

  • Assist with consultant, contractor, and vendor solicitation, procurement, contract administration, and approval tracking.

  • Monitor project details, scope changes, requests for information, submittals, and other information flows to help keep work on schedule.

  • Support project controls and reporting related to status, cost, schedule, and open items.

  • Assist with proposals, contracts, and project closeout activities as needed.

  • Build responsive, professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while handling confidential information with discretion.

What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally within construction, owner’s representation, program management, architecture/engineering, real estate development, or a related professional services environment.

  • 2+ years of financial experience, including budget tracking, project financial analysis, reporting, invoicing, draw preparation, or similar responsibilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; coursework or a degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, architecture, construction, or a related field is beneficial.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • General understanding of project management processes, project controls, construction documentation, and sequencing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced project environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a broader project team.

  • Sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

  • Client-service mindset and ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What Sets You Apart

You anticipate what the team needs before being asked and reliably follow work through to completion. You are comfortable working with financial and project information, enjoy bringing order to complex moving parts, and communicate confidently with clients and project partners. You stay composed when priorities shift, take ownership of details, and are motivated by becoming a trusted resource for the people you support.

Within your first six to twelve months, success will mean independently managing key administrative and coordination functions, supporting project financial tracking and reporting, and serving as a dependable resource for both clients and internal project teams.
