Contract Period of Performance Notice
This position supports a federal contract with a current Period of Performance (POP) scheduled to end April 10, 2027. The contract may be extended or may conclude on that date. Accordingly, IBEX cannot guarantee continued work in this specific contract assignment beyond April 10, 2027. If additional contract work or another suitable IBEX opportunity is available, continued employment may be considered based on business needs, performance, qualifications, and applicable employment terms. Employment with IBEX remains at-will.
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator provides on-site project coordination and project management support to the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The role supports the development and execution of construction-related design products by coordinating technical and administrative activities among DPW branches, design and construction stakeholders, using activities, and external execution partners such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC). The position requires periodic visits to project locations and active construction sites and must perform work in accordance with applicable contract requirements, codes, safety standards, schedules, and client procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities and design-product development across DPW Project Execution, Master Planning, Business Operations, Environmental, construction, design, and other stakeholder organizations.
- Develop and maintain project-specific coordination procedures, schedules, status tracking, and supporting documentation to help keep assigned projects on schedule and aligned with customer requirements.
- Prepare and provide periodic project status reports, including monthly status reporting required by the client.
- Coordinate technical and administrative matters among construction offices, master planning, design offices, using activities, and other project stakeholders.
- Support development of complete design products, including plans, specifications, estimates, and associated documentation, for execution through USACE, MICC, or other approved methods.
- Assist with coordination of Architect-Engineer (A-E) services when required and help ensure A-E deliverables align with Garrison and DPW requirements.
- Review technical criteria, project objectives, and review comments to confirm alignment with project scope, intended function, and applicable technical requirements.
- Identify and coordinate resolution of potential project issues, dependencies, and technical or administrative barriers that could affect schedule or deliverable quality.
- Conduct periodic visits to project locations and active construction sites; comply with all applicable safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure assigned project deliverables are timely, coordinated, complete, and consistent with applicable codes, life-safety requirements, client policies, and Government criteria.
- Maintain professional contractor identification and comply with client, installation, information-security, physical-security, key-control, OPSEC, and related access requirements.
- Travel periodically between Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield as required to support assigned projects.
Work Environment, Professional Appearance & Physical Demands
This is a client-facing, on-site role supporting the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Employees must comply with IBEX requirements and all applicable client, installation, facility-access, safety, security, and professional-conduct requirements.
Professional appearance and conduct must reflect the standards of IBEX and the client. Work may occur in office environments as well as at project locations and active construction sites where required PPE and safety-compliant attire must be worn.
- On-Site/Client-Facing Role: Work is performed primarily at Fort Stewart and/or Hunter Army Airfield in accordance with client requirements.
- Schedule: Services are generally performed Monday through Friday within the Government performance window of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, excluding federal holidays and Government-directed closures, subject to contract and client requirements.
- Fieldwork: Periodic visits to project locations and active construction sites are required. Appropriate PPE may include safety footwear, hard hats, safety gloves, safety vests, eye protection, and hearing protection based on site hazards and requirements.

Physical Demands
This position is performed in an office and field environment and may require:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Typing or viewing a screen for prolonged durations
- Walking, standing, bending, and navigating active project/construction environments while wearing required PPE.
- Periodic local travel between Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield and movement among project sites, as required.

Qualifications- Must meet at least one of the following contract qualification criteria: (1) a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an equivalent degree in a related field such as Architecture; (2) a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI or another equivalent nationally recognized and accredited certifying entity; or (3) a minimum of two years of significant construction project experience in a project management/project coordination capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, project schedules, technical reviews, documentation, and status reporting in a construction, engineering, facilities, or similar project environment.
- Ability to interpret project scope, technical criteria, plans, specifications, estimates, review comments, and project documentation sufficiently to coordinate work and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and common online collaboration/document-management tools; ability to learn and use Government-furnished systems and software required for contract performance.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain installation access, a satisfactory background check, Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility, and all contract-required security, cyber-awareness, OPSEC, iWATCH/TARP, and other required training or certifications.
- Must have current U.S. work authorization.
