Overview

NV5 Clean Mobility Infrastructure team provides full-service engineering and design of electric vehicle charging infrastructure including, permitting, and owner’s representative services to a variety of Clients both public charging and private fleets.


Our unique expertise includes technical knowledge of behind the meter electrical infrastructure of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and commercial building infrastructure to ensure quality of installation and oversight of NFPA 70B preventative maintenance. We work with Clients to provide in field owner’s representative services for associated electrical infrastructure and have completed hundreds of projects of varying sizes and complexities nationwide.


As our Project Coordinator, you will be supporting two Project Managers responsible for managing the project onboarding tasks, purchase order management and project set up. You will support multiple projects simultaneously and provide support services in collaboration with the Project Managers by running weekly financial reports, document collection, updating final close out reports and assisting with Avetta safety compliance management. The right candidate has a long-term goal of managing own projects independently.

Responsibilities

Other responsibilities include:

  • Keep track of documentation requirements and upload technical drawings and reports for Project Managers and Electrical Field Engineers
  • Audit Field deliverables for projects which you are assigned, and follow-up with team members to ensure completeness of deliverables.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with assigned project teams and externally to the client. This includes written (project emails, meeting minutes, proposals) and verbal (documentation of conference calls) communication.
  • Consistently work in cooperation with numerous individuals and project teams both in person and across the country by leveraging technology and project management tools for communication and coordination.
  • Attend meetings for projects you have been assigned (internal and external) per the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Ensure organization of folders and completeness of new site onboarding tasks in trackers and with accounting.
  • Capable of facilitating client meetings with support from NV5 Project Managers.
  • Send Electrical Field Engineer dispatches for scheduled work per direction of the Project Manager.
  • Regularly disseminate information to team members on a timely basis.
  • Track deliverables and advise appropriate team members of item status.
Qualifications

We are seeking the following experience & qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred
  • Project Coordinating experience within engineering preferred.
  • Passion for project performance.
  • Ability to track and complete project work under accelerated schedules.

The pay range for this position in California is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
