Position Title: Project Controls Specialist Manager

The Project Controls Specialist provides administrative and project coordination support for the successful delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects. Working under the direction of the Project Managers and Director, this position supports all projects within the EV Development Department by maintaining project documentation, tracking schedules and milestones, coordinating project deliverables, supporting procurement and change order administration, and ensuring project records are complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with client requirements. The Project Controls Specialist serves as a key administrative resource that helps keep projects organized and on schedule throughout the design, permitting, construction, and closeout phases.

Compensation: $23.50 per hour

The Role

  • Provide administrative support for all EV Development Department projects.
  • Maintain project documentation, logs, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project milestones and forecast dates in Procore, Site Tracker, LiveTrack, and other project management systems as directed by Project Managers.
  • Prepare project status reports and maintain accurate project data for internal and client reporting.
  • Coordinate the collection, organization, review, and submission of project deliverables.
  • Perform quality reviews to verify deliverables are complete, properly organized, and meet client submission requirements before upload.
  • Track client and vendor purchase orders and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Track client- and vendor-side change orders and maintain accurate records of approvals and status.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineering consultants, utility companies, AHJs, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, property owners, and internal departments as needed.
  • Collect project closeout documentation from General Contractors and other project partners, review for completeness, and submit final closeout packages.
  • Maintain electronic project files and document version control.
  • Escalate documentation, schedule, or administrative issues to the Project Managers when identified.
  • Perform other administrative and project coordination duties as assigned.

  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based work is preferred but not required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent administrative experience will be considered.
